Monomoy Theatre is unique in its mission of employing young theatre artists from leading professional training programs across the country to work along side professional directors and guest artists. In twelve weeks, eight shows ranging from musicals to Shakespeare to comedies to contemporary classics are designed, rehearsed, built and performed, with only a few days in between the closing of one show and the opening of the next. It's a fast-paced, enriching and extraordinary creative environment that provides a challenging and rewarding artistic experience to these talented young artists as well as to our audiences.
